Jim is the Director of Sales & Marketing for FedSavvy Strategies. He guides the firm’s business development, marketing communication and branding efforts. His career spans 25+ years of B2B consultative business development in both the federal and commercial sectors. Jim is an excellent listener and problem solver who has helped companies win millions in federal contracts. He has managed marketing and creative teams in-house as well as multimillion-dollar campaigns. Jim’s superpower is understanding the pain points of a client and finding a workable solution. He is a native Washingtonian and received a Bachelors Degree in Marketing and Management from the University of South Carolina. He resides in Chevy Chase, Maryland with his wife and 9-year-old daughter.

Jim loves boating and fishing on the Chesapeake Bay, traveling, coaching girls’ basketball and working in the yard.

1. He was an intercollegiate water skier at the University of South Carolina.
2. In 1917 Jim’s great granddad founded Bergmann’s Laundry at 6th & G St. NW, now home to the Capital One Arena.
3. This past summer he won a very competitive Pickleball tournament, and the trophy was a jar of pickles.
